Mr. Las Vegas Returns
One name in Vegas brings to mind the combination of talent, glamour and energy – Wayne Newton. Since his early days when he came to Vegas with $20 in his pocket and landed a 46-week gig at the Fremont to his huge productions at the Flamingo, Newton has been entertaining audiences with his voice and talent.
Now Mr. Las Vegas celebrates his 50th year as a Sin City entertainer with his new show, “Once Before I Go,” playing for a limited time at the Tropicana Las Vegas.
It tells the story of Newton’s rise to the top from that shy 15 year old to becoming an entertainment icon. He shares stories of his history with Elvis, the Rat Pack and his signature tuxedo.
Newton has the help of a full orchestra and photos and videos illustrating his story. Indeed, no night would be complete without Newton singing “Danke Shoen.” This six-month engagement may be his last. Wayne Newton
