Feel the Rush

The attractions are endless in Las Vegas. While there are a number of things to do for the big kids, there is plenty to occupy the little ones as well. Discover the youthful side of Las Vegas and take a ride on one of the many roller coasters you will find around the city.

Stratosphere
The Stratosphere Las Vegas is one of the tallest buildings in the world, which makes it the perfect setting for some of the most spine tingling rides around. The X Scream shoots its passengers 27 feet off the side of the tower and suspends them there for what may seem like hours before retracting them back and doing it all over again. The riders in the front row have arguably the best view in Las Vegas, if they can get over the shock of being almost 900 feet in the air.

New York New York
New York New York Hotel and Casino features the exciting Manhattan Express. The roller coaster takes you through twists and turns with speeds up to 67 mph. Be preparedto be lifted up 203 feet and dropped back down 144 feet. The ride features all the favorites of a classic roller coaster including upside down turns, barrel rolls, and high speeds. The only difference is this coaster is above the New York New York skyline complete with a replica of the Statue of Liberty.

Circus Circus
The Adventuredome at Circus Circus Las Vegas is a 5-acre indoor theme park full of rides, shows, and fun attractions. Purchase an all day pass and experience everything the park has to offer. Kids will love the premium rides including the Canyon Blaster that reaches speeds of 55 mph. Play a round of miniature golf at Pike’s Pass and enjoy free clown shows located on the main stage. Performances daily at noon, 1, 3, and 4 PM. Additional shows Friday and Saturday 6, 7, 8, and 9 PM.

Sahara
The appropriately named Speed, located at the Sahara, starts in the NASCAR Cafe and takes riders over hills and down steep drops at 35 miles per hour. After Speed takes a dive through the underground tunnel, it hurls itself to a peak speed of 70 miles per hour. Just when passengers think the ride is over, it goes through the same route in reverse.

Madame Tussauds
Las Vegas is a popular destination for celebrities and sports figures, many of which call Las Vegas home. It’s not uncommon to spot them at restaurants, nightclubs, or walking along the Las Vegas Strip. For those who want a guaranteed celebrity sighting, visit Madame Tussauds... story
Soakin' Up in the Pools
One of the best summer activities in Las Vegas is soaking up the hot Nevada sun while lounging by one of the magnificent casino pools... story.
