Design for Tomorrow

Designers, buyers, vendors and those involved in the world of creating color, shape and style for our surroundings came to Las Vegas in August for market week at the World Market Center Las Vegas and Las Vegas Design Center to get an advanced look of next season’s newest design trends and innovations. The World Market Center offers 5.1 million square feet of showrooms located throughout three connected buildings, featuring more than 1,400 exhibitor’s product lines.

Three of the nation’s leadingdesigners, Darryl Carter, Mary McDonald and Kishani Perera, announced their forecasts during their presentation, Ahead of the Curve. The trend this year is neutral colors for walls, flooring and furniture using bright and bold accessories to add individual touches. Lines will be simple without embellishments.

The Las Vegas Design Center at the World Market Center is open to consumers all year and GuildMaster showroom located at the center announced their partnership with Shabby Chic by Rachel Ashwell offering Shabby Chic designs to the public. For more information, visit www.lvdesigncenter.com.
