Dude Looks Like A Lady

While Las Vegas has its fair share of headliners, few have a key to the city, a street named after them and a star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame. Frank Marino certainly qualifies.

The star of “An Evening at La Cage” for 23 years has opened “Divas Las Vegas” featuring an all-star cast of female impersonators. Yes, you read that right.

Marino stars as Joan Rivers and serves as saucy emcee of the show with a tongue as sharp as Rivers’. Stars taking the stage range from Britney Spears and Cher to Diana Ross and Beyonce, with some Madonna thrown in for good measure during this 75-minute show. The show kicks off with Lady Gaga lip-syncing “Let’s Dance” while a posse of six male dancers get the crowd moving. And then it’s hit after hit from your favorites divas.

While the numbers entertain, it’s Marino’s collection of Bob Mackie gowns and Manolo Blahnik shoes that dazzle. Between each number, Marino changes attire.

“The ladder of success was even harder to climb wearing high heels,” Marino loves to say.
