PH Towers Westgate

With the opening of PH Towers Westgate on Friday, December 18, 2009, David Siegel, President and CEO of Westgate Resorts, has elevated Westgate Resorts into the most exciting brand in the timeshare industry. He started his company in 1980 with 16 units nestled in an orange grove next to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Over the next 25 years he developed 28 properties across the country and grew Westgate into the largest privately owned timeshare company in the world.

It is the company’s most recent project, PH Towers Westgate, which has solidified Westgate Resorts as a major brand in this industry. David Siegel has created a spectacular 52-story luxury vacation timeshare tower at the heart of the world famous Las Vegas Strip and adjacent to the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino complex. Having already built two of the largest timeshare projects in the world, Westgate Resorts has set new records by being the first vacation ownership resort to be fully integrated with a major resort and casino complex.

With the recent unveiling of the “ PH Towers Westgate” signage on top of the building, the brand name “Westgate” now takes its place above the Las Vegas skyline, joining other superstar brands, such as MGM City Center, MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, and Bellagio.

The Westgate Resorts construction team has moved full steam ahead from the groundbreaking ceremonies on February 19, 2006 to the Topping Off on July 2, 2008 to commemorate reaching the highest point of vertical construction. Now complete, the property welcomed its first owners and guests at a “soft” opening on Friday, December 18, 2009. A grand opening was celebrated on January 29, 2010.

PH Towers Westgate’s soaring glass tower stands 52 stories high and encompasses 1.9 million square feet of a project that will eventually include 3.2 million square feet and over 1200 luxury resort condominiums.

The top five stories of the tower consist of 40 luxury penthouse units ranging in size from 4,000-12,000 square feet. The remainder of the building consists of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom luxury units averaging 1500 sf that will be offered for both vacation ownership and as traditional hotel suites rented nightly.

The units are among the most luxurious in the Vegas market and feature custom designed interior furnishings that include a state-of-the-art home theater with a giant 8’ wide screen, full kitchens, whirlpool tubs, and uncompromised views of the Las Vegas skyline. One of the many unique features of PH Towers Westgate is a sleek and upscale lobby directly overlooking an exotic tropical pool, complete with a sandy beach and private cabanas that are conveniently located only a few feet from the resort elevators.
